Noël Nouvelet

Noël nouvelet is a traditional French Christmas carol, likely dating back to the late 15th century. The title blends the old French words Noël (referring to the Nativity) and nouvelet (meaning "new" or "renewed"), which could be translated as “Let us sing a new Noël” or “The new message of Christmas.” Among the best-known modern versions is that of Loreena McKennitt, featured on her album To Drive the Cold Winter Away.
